About Oh Gosh Kids

Oh Gosh Kids offers engaging, play-based learning experiences that support early childhood development through music, movement, sensory play, and art. Our mission is to enhance children’s social awareness, fine motor skills, and sensory exploration in fun, interactive settings across North Texas.

We specialize in caregiver-and-me classes, thoughtfully designed for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. These classes are more than just playtime—they're opportunities for bonding, learning, and growth. Oh Gosh Kids also provides custom programming for schools, birthday parties, corporate events, and other community gatherings, making learning accessible, joyful, and inclusive for every child.

Our Approach to Early Learning

At Oh Gosh Kids, we believe children learn best through hands-on, play-based experiences shared with their caregivers. Our programs are intentionally designed to support the whole child—emotionally, socially, physically, and cognitively during the most important years of development.

Grounded in early childhood research, each class blends music, movement, sensory exploration, and creative play in a way that makes learning natural, joyful, and meaningful.

Music & Movement

Every session incorporates music, singing, and dancing to build rhythm, language development, emotional expression, and joy. Caregivers and children move together throughout class, supporting gross motor development, coordination, and confidence in a fun, engaging environment.

Sensory Play

We create rich sensory experiences that spark curiosity and support cognitive growth. Children explore textures, sounds, scents, and colors through hands-on activities that encourage neural development and support diverse learning styles, including children with sensory sensitivities or developmental delays.

Art & Creativity

Creative expression is central to how young children learn and grow. Our open-ended art experiences foster imagination while strengthening fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and early problem-solving abilities.

Inclusive, Bonding-Focused

Our caregiver-and-me format places relationships at the heart of every class. We intentionally design each experience to strengthen caregiver-child bonding, build caregiver confidence, and create meaningful shared memories in a warm, supportive community.

Meet the Founder, Ashley Norman

Hi, I’m Ashley Norman — founder of Oh Gosh Kids, an early childhood educator, experiential learning designer, sensory play advocate, and proud mom of two.

With over 10 years of experience in education and youth development, my work has always centered around creating meaningful learning experiences that help children feel supported, confident, and inspired to explore.

Throughout my career, I have worked with children and families across a variety of educational settings, including the classroom, afterschool programs, mentorship initiatives, enrichment programs, and individualized behavioral support. I have supported learners from early childhood through K–12, working with children with diverse learning styles, developmental needs, and abilities.

My experience extends beyond the classroom through designing and implementing experiential learning programs that bring education to life. I have partnered alongside nonprofit organizations to create elementary-aged programming focused on hands-on learning, mentorship, exploration, and meaningful connections. These experiences strengthened my belief that children learn best when they are actively engaged, encouraged to ask questions, and given opportunities to learn through doing.

My work as a Registered Behavioral Technician providing ABA therapy further shaped my understanding of individualized learning and the importance of creating inclusive environments where every child has the opportunity to thrive. Through this experience, I witnessed the powerful impact of sensory-rich, play-based learning and how hands-on exploration can support communication, confidence, creativity, and connection for all children.

I believe children learn best when they are given the freedom to create, imagine, play, and explore. This belief became the foundation for Oh Gosh Kids.

As a mom, I was searching for meaningful spaces where my own child could learn through play while I connected with other families. When I couldn’t find the type of community I envisioned, I decided to create it.

Since founding Oh Gosh Kids, I have had the privilege of building a growing early childhood enrichment community serving hundreds of families throughout North Texas. Through caregiver-and-me classes, bilingual music experiences, sensory play programs, experiential learning experiences, school partnerships, parent education workshops, and educator trainings, I bring developmentally intentional programming to children, families, schools, and organizations.

Beyond live programming, I am also the creative force behind Oh Gosh Kids TV, developing original children’s music, scripts, characters, and educational content designed to inspire imagination, learning, and connection. Through storytelling, music, and engaging characters, I create experiences that extend learning beyond the classroom and into the everyday lives of children and families.

Every experience I create is rooted in the belief that play is not just fun, it is how children learn, communicate, build relationships, and make sense of the world around them.

At the heart of everything we do is our mission:

Create. Imagine. Play.

I can’t wait to welcome your family into the Oh Gosh Kids community.
