About Oh Gosh Kids

Oh Gosh Kids offers engaging, play-based learning experiences that support early childhood development through music, movement, sensory play, and art. Our mission is to enhance children’s social awareness, fine motor skills, and sensory exploration in fun, interactive settings across North Texas.

We specialize in caregiver-and-me classes, thoughtfully designed for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. These classes are more than just playtime—they're opportunities for bonding, learning, and growth. Oh Gosh Kids also provides custom programming for schools, birthday parties, corporate events, and other community gatherings, making learning accessible, joyful, and inclusive for every child.

Our Approach to Early Learning

At Oh Gosh Kids, we believe children learn best through hands-on, play-based experiences shared with their caregivers. Our programs are grounded in research and designed to support the whole child—emotionally, socially, physically, and cognitively.

Music & Movement

Every session includes music, singing, and dancing to nurture rhythm, language development, emotional connection, and joy. Caregivers and children move together, developing gross motor skills, coordination, and confidence in a lively, supportive environment.

Sensory Play

We offer sensory-rich experiences that stimulate curiosity and cognitive growth. Children explore textures, sounds, scents, and colors in a way that promotes neural development and supports all learning styles—particularly helpful for children with sensory sensitivities or delays.

Art & Creativity

Creative expression is key to self-discovery and fine motor development. Our inclusive art activities encourage imagination while strengthening small muscle control, hand-eye coordination, and problem-solving.

Inclusive, Bonding-Focused

Our caregiver-and-me format puts relationships first. Classes are designed to deepen the caregiver-child bond, support parent confidence, and create lasting memories in a nurturing, community-focused space.

Our mission is to foster meaningful connections between caregivers and children through play-based learning experiences that nurture creativity, growth, and development.

“I believe that learning happens best when it's joyful. By creating spaces where caregivers and children can play, connect, and grow together, we’re building more than skills, we’re building lifelong bonds."

— Ashley, Founder of Oh Gosh Kids LLC.

  • Founder, Early Childhood Educator

Hi, I’m Miss Ashley Norman— founder of Oh Gosh Kids, certified Zumbini Instructor, sensory play advocate, and most importantly, a proud wife and mom of two!

With over 10 years of experience in early childhood and K–12 education, I’ve had the privilege of working with children from all backgrounds and learning styles. My journey began in the classroom, where I quickly realized just how critical the first five years are in shaping a child’s development. That passion led me to specialize in early childhood education and I haven’t looked back since!

I also spent time working as a Behavioral Technician providing ABA therapy, where I was first introduced to the powerful impact of sensory play. That experience opened my eyes to how meaningful hands on, sensory rich environments can be for children of all abilities. Today, I design inclusive sensory play experiences that spark curiosity, support emotional growth, and celebrate every child’s uniqueness.

In 2018, I became a certified Zumbini Instructor, combining my love for music and movement with early learning. I’ve taught Zumbini classes across several states, and when my family moved from California to North Texas in 2022, I was excited to bring that same energy and joy to our new community.

Oh Gosh Kids was born from a deeply personal place — my own need as a mother searching for connection, community, and meaningful experiences for my young son. I longed for a space where he could engage in play-based learning, and where I could connect with other parents walking a similar journey. When I couldn’t find exactly what I was looking for, I decided to create it myself.

Today, Oh Gosh Kids is a joyful, inclusive space where families can come together to learn, play, and grow. Every class, activity, and experience is thoughtfully designed to encourage creativity, self-expression, and connection through music, movement, sensory play, and art.

Whether you're joining us for a sensory class, music session, or just some good old messy play. I can’t wait to welcome you and your little one into the Oh Gosh Kids community!

  • Early Childhood Music Educator

Hi, I’m Miss Dany Ruiz, an early childhood music educator with over 6 years of experience teaching music to babies and young children aged 6 months to 5 years, and 11 years of experience in the choral music world. My mission is to nurture a deep love for music through joyful, playful, and meaningful experiences tailored to each stage of early development.

I’m a graduate of the Instituto Superior de Música Esperanza Azteca, originally from Puebla, Mexico. My professional music career has taken me to world-class stages such as the Auditorio Nacional, Bellas Artes, Sala Nezahualcóyotl, Teatro de la Ciudad and Auditorio de la Reforma, all of them in Mexico city, performing with celebrated artists like Plácido Domingo, Joshua Bell, Yo-Yo Ma, and Carlos Prieto, and under the direction of renowned conductors such as Valery Gergiev, Carlos Miguel Prieto, and Benjamin Zander.

I’ve also had the honor of performing at the Clinton Global Initiative, the Aspen Ideas Festival in Colorado, and as a guest artist for Azteca America in New York.

Throughout my career, I’ve led children’s and youth choirs, created choral programs in private schools, and currently sing with the Credo Community Choir and the Dallas Symphony Chorus.

My classes are thoughtfully designed to support your child’s development through music. Each session includes songs, rhythms, movement, sensory play, and musical games that promote focus, language, motor skills, memory—and most importantly, joy!

More than just a class, it’s a heartwarming experience of bonding, learning, and fun for you and your little one.

I invite you to be part of this magical musical journey. Let’s make music together!
