FREE Sensory Wonders: Farmyard Literacy & Sensory Play!

Join Oh Gosh Kids for a FREE morning of farm-themed fun featuring literacy, sensory play, music, movement, and hands-on learning for children ages 0–5 and their caregivers! Families will also have access to Pre-K enrollment support and free early learning resources throughout the event.

This week's featured story is The Little Blue Truck, a heartwarming tale about kindness, friendship, and helping others. We'll bring the story to life through interactive storytelling, farm-inspired sensory play, music, and creative exploration designed to nurture early childhood development.

Event Schedule

10:00–11:00 AM | Ages 0–2
11:00 AM–12:00 PM | Ages 3–5

Each age group will participate in activities designed specifically for their developmental stage while enjoying the same exciting farm theme.

During each Sensory Wonders session, families will enjoy:

Interactive Circle Time
Sing, dance, and move together with farm-themed songs, greetings, fingerplays, and movement activities that build language and social skills.

Storytime
Experience The Little Blue Truck through engaging storytelling, props, sound effects, and participation that helps children connect with the story in meaningful ways.

Farm-Themed Sensory Play
Children will explore a variety of hands-on sensory stations inspired by life on the farm, including:

• 🌾 Oat sensory bins

• 🚜 "Mud" water play

• 🌱 Beans and colorful rice

• 🐣 Shredded paper "hay"

• 🌼 Farm animal small-world play and open-ended exploration

Creative Farm Craft
Create a farm-inspired art project that encourages creativity, fine motor development, and storytelling.

Closing Circle
We'll end our adventure with music, reflection, and a goodbye song that reinforces the day's learning and celebrates our time together.

Sensory Wonders is a play-based experience where stories come alive through music, movement, art, and sensory exploration. Every activity is thoughtfully designed to encourage curiosity, creativity, language development, fine motor skills, and meaningful caregiver-child connection.

This event is FREE and open to families with children ages 0–5.
