Sensory Sundays: Family Fun, Play & Discovery
Join Oh Gosh Kids for the launch of our brand-new Sensory Sundays series at Halperin Park! This FREE, hands-on class is designed for toddlers and preschool-aged children and their caregivers to explore, create, move, and play together.

What to Expect:
Each 60-minute Sensory Wonders class combines music, storytelling, sensory exploration, art, and movement! Families will:
Start with a fun musical storytime
Read a featured book and explore themed sensory bins inspired by the story
Create a story-inspired arts & crafts project
Enjoy open-ended sensory play and hands-on discovery
Come together for a fun closing circle with parachute play, puppets, music, and more!
We provide child-sized aprons to help little ones dive into sensory exploration. Sensory materials may include water, oats, beans, pasta, and other age-appropriate fillers for fun, hands-on discovery.
About Halperin Park:
After class, families can enjoy all that Halperin Park has to offer, including its beautiful park spaces and water play areas. Our Sensory Wonders class will take place indoors.
Parking:
Parking is available in the adjacent Dallas Zoo parking lots. Parking is $14 for non-zoo members and FREE for Dallas Zoo members, on a first-come, first-served basis.
This event is completely FREE and hosted by Oh Gosh Kids sponsored by Halperin Park.
