Join Oh Gosh Kids at Halperin Park for Little Beats, a fun and interactive family music class designed for little ones ages 0–4 and their caregivers!
Little Beats puts a playful spin on traditional nursery songs by blending them with Hip-Hop, R&B, Motown, and classic family favorites. This engaging music experience encourages children to move, explore rhythm, play instruments, and connect with their grown-ups through music and movement.

What to Expect
Each 60-minute Little Beats class is filled with music, movement, and hands-on fun! Families will:
Sing and dance along to nursery songs with a Hip-Hop, R&B, and Motown twist
Explore rhythm instruments and musical props
Shake, move, stretch, and groove with scarves and other movement materials
Play along with egg shakers, rhythm instruments, and other hands-on musical tools
Meet playful puppets and characters throughout the class
Practice rhythm, beat, and musical patterns through repetition and play
Participate in interactive caregiver-and-child activities that encourage connection
Enjoy movement games, call-and-response songs, and opportunities for children to express themselves
Finish with a fun closing circle filled with music, movement, and connection
Little Beats is designed to be playful, welcoming, and developmentally appropriate for babies, toddlers, preschoolers, and their grown-ups. No prior musical experience is needed. Just come ready to sing, move, dance, and play!

Parking
Parking is available in the adjacent Dallas Zoo parking lots. Parking is $14 for non-zoo members and FREE for Dallas Zoo members, on a first-come, first-served basis.
